Pownce!

I just received this mail from pownce.com, which is mostly blogged as killer for the popular twitter.com, that there is some update on the website. I happened to check out powence! some time back and was impressed with their client application support which was based on Adobe AIR platform. This is one of the earliest adaption of this framework, by far I know (even though I don’t track any development on the AIR itself).

So, what happened now that is worth blogging. Well, for some reason, I always ended up connecting to the internet via a proxy/ firewall which needed every application to have a feature where I could mention my proxy settings. Pownce ‘s release, one which I used when it was announced around july, 2007, itdid not support proxy tunnel through. guess what, this one does.

This is nice little website with cool tool. The technology (AIR) itself seems to be cool, but again, lets see how it fares among the developers group.
